Native to South Africa, they produce an ongoing display of bright yellow flowers from spring through fall. An evergreen shrub in mild winter climates, it can be grown as a summer annual in all areas. Very tolerant of heat, cold, drought and poor soils. Easily started by seed.

This plant is heat and drought-tolerant, but likes some water during dry periods.
