Sorbaria assurgens

False Spiraea

These deciduous, summer-flowering shrubs are grown for their foliage and large panicles of white, small flowers. They prefer sun and deep, fertile, moist soil. On mature plants, prune out some old stems and remaining shots in winter.

LIke other cultivated Sorbaria, this large, upright shrub is chiefly grown for its big, creamy-white flowering panicles and its compound leaves.
